Victoria Day Weekend
This is the first long weekend of the year, and its was a rainy one :P
My mom and sis came up to Ottawa for the finale of the Tulip Festival on Friday afternoon. Alex met up with them and later met up with me after work. We had Thai food that night at a newly discovered restaurant on Bank St. Its right at the corner of Bank and Sunnyside. Its one of those treasures that just gets looked over. Anyways, to sum it up, we ate on low tables cross-legged, the food was amazing, the coconut curry just perfect, yum yum! Anyone who went to Royal Thai and thought that was good, well, this is even better!!!
so, on Saturday it was a full day of tulips, walking through the entire Ottawa and hull!!! We saw so many tulips and took so many pics. I bet the number of pics all the tourists took together would equal the number of bulbs they planted. Too bad the rain caught us a few times right when we're walking around, oh well...
so Italian food on Preston St. for dinner is good a usual, too bad we missed out on the best ones probably since we didn't make reservations. Next time ~ must make reservation at Preston St. so.. after dinner the fireworks and light boats parade was nice. Alex found us the best spot behind a tourist information sign right by the water. I suppose no one thought about squeezing behind the sign and stepping over the bushes to get to the water. Actually it was the perfect spot for the four of us :)
then finally the big move, my mom and sis took all my belongings back with them. Now, I'm left with just one small suitcase of clothes and a gym bag and backpack for all other misc. necessities. Its going to be an interesting week of living out at Alex's place or eating microwave dinners :)

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
Its another lovely morning at work...the weather is incredible outside...i want to be out there... and not in here :P
Its been ups and downs for the past week, mostly coinciding with the weather patterns...I suppose my moods swings were fluctuating...and perhaps its the allegies...I've been having itchy eyes, and sniffing nose, feeling quite awful at times, and better shortly after...what is wrong with me?? and now.. there this thing stuck in my throat...and I'm making so much noise coughing that my co-worker is saying: "shhhh!" --> haha.. its Andrew, sigh.. he's like that :P
well... i'm starting to count down the days I have left to work. One more this week, and four next week. I love long weekends :) one less work day for me!!
I'm starting to pack pack pack for another move home, yup, another one. I love how all things are wrapping up, I cant wait for my holiday. Going to head to Boston/NY for a week, then back to Toronto for a few of my friends convocations, then off to HK!!! --> then Japan --> then Taiwan --> then HK again --> perhaps Macau, China and who knows --> and of course HOME!
Its gonna be a jam packed summer!! Just another month!!! see ya!

Tulip Festival Begins ~
today is the first day of the tulip festival and finally we have sunshine!!!

New Sunglasses (1)
My new Ray Ban Sunglasses, aren't they beautiful!!!
I love how the frame is coloured yet transparent... so nice... and it fades from brownish grey to a peachy pink.. hehe.. and the lens is a nice blue colour to look out of... i know.. i'm going to hong kong.. and japan... i should do my shopping there.. but i couldnt resist this :P
