Life drawing update!

due to comment from j9... i have revised my post:

and.. what it was like when first started!

~ wisdom teeth OUT~ ouch

under tydenol 3 and antibiotics... i am tired and trying to regain feelings in my lower left lips... its not the ice i'm constantly putting on... i think they have damaged a nerve... unable to feel my lips makes it hard to know if i'm drooling... or eating properly...

somehow... i think the worst of it was not the first day.. but now after 2 days... i'm really feeling tired and drowsy.... the pain is slowly going away... but maybe since i cannot eat to gain energy.. often i'm feeling powerless still...

anyways... the surgery isnt all that bad.. the recovery is the bad part... i had no recollection of the surgery.. i only remember the mask with the funny gas they put on me... then the nurse having trouble locating my "skinny' blood veins.. and doctor Chu stepped in to give me the 'poke'... then i felt tired.. saw Chu pacing back and forth asking how i was doing... after 2 times... i dont recall hearing Chu again......

the next thing i remembered was a nurse telling me to sit up.. and holding me under my arms... i believe i was moved to another resting bed... but how i got there i dont remember... cuz the next thing i remembered was opening my eyes and finding myself somewhere else and just being tired... i just wanted to keep sleeping... i knew then keith was with me... but i just kept sleeping..haha...

it was a nice feeling... so weightless and sleepy... then the nurse came to change my cotton in my mouth and said i was ready to go... they had to make room for another patient to use my spot... (so pretty much kicking me out)... then i know i was awake... finished up with the paper work and stuff and keith drove me home...

its a funny feeling to be put to sleep... just that now... not being able to feel my lips.. i'm a little worried... hopefully the nerves will heal....

turquoise fettuccine ~ zabaglione ~

thx to dom, i had a very interesting and lovely meal.. it was odd... but it was good :P
why odd u ask?... well.. when do u see turquoise color in any food?... our experiment tells us that lemon juice will make garlic change colors... from yellow to lime to green to turquoise...

the veggies were amazing!!! so easy to make and soooo delicious!


ya.. u cant really see the "turquoise" color.. but if u look carefuly.. they are there... but that doesnt matter ... garlic is still garlic... it was a recipe from dom's mom... lemon tangy cream sauce... tastes really good :)
