yes... i am done my thesis!!!

it is the reason why my blog has not been updated... now.. i have lots to catch up on...

ever since my last post on the completed lifedrawing, i have been busy with thesis... april had been a crazy month... i spent everyday working at least 12 hours either writing or drawing...

write write write.. then draw draw draw... non-stop!!!!

the month passed by soooo slowly... it was almost never ending... just when one thing got finished.. there was always another waiting... but... i am glad to have had veronique working hard with me during the entire time... we kept each other on track.. it makes a big difference to have someone else working at the same pace and aiming for the same deadline... so.. thx vern... for being such a lovely roommate and friend :)

i will miss u!!!!

the last 10 days after the rough draft submission were perhaps more stressful than i realized... i spent up to 20 hours a day in the studio... at my drafting table... drawing away... or in the shop during its last few hours.... making my interlocking model...

all that went thru my mind was that 10 days till the deadline is closer than what it had been a month ago.. and that all this pain.. would soon go away!!!!! .. then the count down.. 10,9,8...3,2,1... tada!!!

the day just happened... calm at first.. then it was just like a thunder storm... full of violence and force... and then.. afterwards... the rain poured :P

the judges... and it begins
the judges asked some tough questions... i have to say... it was by far the hardest (crit/presentation) i had to make in the past 6 years at carleton... i suppose that is what a defense is all about!!!! but ... now that i had time to reflect on it... the experience was lovely... i think it felt tough due to al the stress that built up... beyond that, i think it went rather well :)

and now we're done!!!! the raining begins!!!
